The Client is the entity (person or organisation) that is invoiced.
An Image includes a photograph, picture, print, scan, negative, design, or any other artefact delivered to the Client for the purposes of Reproduction.
Reproduction includes any form of display, presentation, copying or publication, whether electronic or mechanical, of any image in any form whether unaltered or altered by any means.
Decastar Portraits retains title and copyright in all images created by the Photographer.
The Client is granted a licence to use the provided images as follows:
The licence to use images comes into effect on full payment of the invoice.
The licence is not transferable to any third party except by written agreement between the Photographer and Client.
The specific licence terms for Reproduction of images are contained in the Licence Agreement. Any variations must be agreed in writing by the Client and Photographer.
Professional Portraits (30 minute session in the Decastar Studio) are charged at $80.
Other studio-based photographic services are charged at $120 for the 1st hour and $50 per additional half-hour or part thereof. Minimum charge is 1 hour.
Event photography will be quoted after detailed discussion of the requirements with the Client.
Professional Portraits include 3 images agreed to by the Client.
All other photographic services include all images agreed between Photographer and Client.
All images delivered are lightly processed for exposure, sharpness, colour correction, etc.
All images are delivered in high quality JPG format. Actual dimensions will depend on framing, aspect ratio, etc.
Printed images can be provided at additional cost by agreement.
A deposit of $50 is required for all Studio bookings.
If a Client cancels a Studio booking within 24 hours they will forfeit the full deposit. If a Client cancels a Studio booking within 48 hours they will forfeit half the deposit.
Deposits and cancellation terms for events including weddings will be negotiated with the Client and included in the quote.
Payment of the balance in full is required prior to delivery of images.
Payments can be made by Direct Bank Deposit or PayID. Details are in the confirmation email sent on booking.

Decastar Portraits collects information (name, email address, phone, etc.) supplied by the Client for the purpose of delivering services to and invoicing the Client.
Decastar Portraits does not sell or give Client information to any third parties.

Decastar Portraits operates a small studio for indoor shoots. It is equipped with strobe flashes, softbox modifiers and various backdrops to achieve compelling professional results.
